Claude was born in Jamaica and raised in Belle Glade, Florida and is a proud product of a strong Jamaican heritage. His hard-working immigrant parents showed him how to give to a community in order to build up that community. He is taking that education and building it into the vision of his agency.

As a graduate of Glades Central High School, he earned himself a football scholarship to University of Pittsburgh where he earned All-American acclaim on the field, majored in Communication Rhetoric and served as team leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization.

After college, Claude was selected in the 2004 Draft in the fifth round to Chicago. He also played for the New York , Detroit , Kansas City and the Toronto Argonauts. His professional football career spanned 9 years and 4 different countries. Claude embraced the opportunities to learn life lessons from the people he’s met and the opportunities he has grasped.

Upon retiring from professional football, Claude became a Master General Agent with life insurance company American Income Life. He helped educate families on how to use life insurance to protect themselves and loved ones from financial insecurity. Claude also trained his agents on the importance of giving the right information the first time and that success was not to be measured by closed accounts but by how many people they were able to help.

In 2018, Claude began working closely with the Washington DC Former Players Chapter where he developed a life skills program that has been implemented in schools to encourage young men and women to “Choose to Win”, which is the universal theme of the nonprofit organization Quest-Act; of which Claude is a Co-founder. In 2020, Claude began leading his father’s nonprofit as Executive Director for “Glades Youth Connection”, a faith-based organization mentoring youth through sports and supporting our community through civic engagement. Under Claude’s leadership, he has expanded Glades Youth Connection from its Florida base to now making an impact in the Washington DC Metro area.

I’m passionate about volunteering and mentoring, especially coaching sports and being involved with my kids’ activities. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and jujutsu. I’ve been married to my beautiful wife for almost two decades, and we have two wonderful daughters.

Claude has always looked for ways to complement his community. In July of 2021, Claude accepted the opportunity to lead as owner of his very own State Farm agency. He is extremely excited to continue educating his neighbors how to protect their loved ones and family members through insurance.
